Age Reference Date: 1 July 2026
For Computer Assistant, the official notification states the candidate must not be born before 2 July 1991 and not after 1 July 2008.
Age Relaxation: Candidates belonging to reserved categories of Uttar Pradesh are entitled to age relaxation as per rules prescribed in the official notification. Where a candidate is eligible for relaxation under more than one category, only the most beneficial relaxation will be granted — not cumulative relaxation.

Educational Qualification
Common for all three posts (RO, ARO, and CA):
1. Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law in India, or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by the competent authority.
2. Computer Qualification (mandatory for all posts): Any one of the following is required:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science from a recognized University or Institution established by law in India, OR
- ‘O’ Level Certificate awarded by NIELIT / DOEACC Society, OR
- ‘CCC’ Certificate in Computer Science from a recognized institution established by law in India
3. Computer Skills (mandatory): Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing, and Computer Operations as specified in the official notification.
4. Typing Speed (mandatory eligibility criterion): Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute (WPM) in English on a computer. This is both an eligibility condition for application and a qualifying criterion in Stage III of the examination.
Disqualification Note: Candidates who do not meet any of the above four criteria will be summarily rejected. Candidates must possess all qualifications by the closing date of the online application form (21 June 2026).
Selection Process

Shortlisting for Stage II & III: Seven times the total vacancies (category-wise, post-wise) shall be shortlisted on the basis of Stage I merit to appear in Stage II and Stage III.
Stage II: Mains Examination

- Relaxation in Qualifying Marks — SC / ST / OBC / PwBD candidates get 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks on aggregate
- Note: Stage II and Stage III are conducted simultaneously in a single shift with a gap of only 20 minutes between the two.
Stage III: Computer Knowledge Test (CKT)

- Final Merit: The final merit list is prepared based on combined performance in Stage II and Stage III only. Stage I is purely a screening test and its marks are not counted in the final merit.
- There is no interview for these posts. Selection is purely examination-based.
