The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has officially released the AIIMS CRE-5 2026 Notification on 13 June 2026 on its official website aiimsexams.ac.in. A total of 1,484 vacancies have been announced for various Group B and Group C Non-Faculty posts across participating AIIMS institutes and other Central Government healthcare organisations.

This is one of the most significant central government healthcare recruitment drives of 2026. The AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination-5 (CRE-5) is a national-level centralised exam covering 57 post groups spanning technical, administrative, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and allied health roles. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications from 13 June 2026 to 3 July 2026 (up to 5:00 PM) through the official AIIMS examination portal.

Age is calculated as on 3 July 2026 (the closing date for online application). The post-wise age ranges are as follows:

Age Relaxation (Upper Age Limit)

Note: Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules. SC/ST/OBC candidates who apply for unreserved (UR) vacancies are NOT eligible for age relaxation. Post-wise and institute-wise age limits are specified in Annexure-I and Annexure-III of the official DRA.

Educational Qualification

How to Apply Online — Step by Step

1) Visit the official AIIMS examination portal: https://aiimsexams.ac.in
2) Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process:

  • Click on the OTR / Registration link on the homepage
  • Enter your basic personal details, mobile number, and email ID
  • A unique Registration ID will be sent to your registered email and mobile number

3) Log in to the AIIMS portal using your Registration ID
4) Select the AIIMS CRE-5 2026 apply link
5) Select the post group(s) you wish to apply for. Note: a separate application and separate fee must be submitted for each post group
6) Fill in the application form carefully — personal details, educational qualifications, category, experience (if applicable), and institute preference
7) Upload required documents:

  • Recent passport-size photograph (as per specified dimensions and file size)

  • Thumb impression (as per specified dimensions and file size)
