UPSSSC PET Online Form 2026 — Apply Online, Eligibility, Dates

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC), the state recruitment body that screens and recruits candidates for Group C posts in Uttar Pradesh, has released the official notification for the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026 under Advertisement No. 16-Exam/2026, dated 01 August 2026. The online application process is active on the official website upsssc.gov.in from 03 August 2026 to 01 September 2026.

UPSSSC PET is a mandatory qualifying screening test and the first stage of the Commission’s two-tier selection system. Candidates must clear PET to become eligible to apply for the Main Examinations of various Group C posts such as Lekhpal, Junior Assistant, Village Development Officer (VDO), Stenographer, X-Ray Technician and Assistant Accountant. The PET score remains valid for three years from the date of result declaration.

PET itself does not carry any vacancy count — post-wise vacancies are announced separately through individual recruitment notifications. Candidates who have passed Class 10 (High School) and are aged between 18 and 40 years (as on 01 July 2026) can apply online after completing the mandatory One Time Registration (OTR).
