Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s largest public sector banks, has officially released the PNB LBO Recruitment 2026 notification on 20 July 2026 for 545 Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). The 545 vacancies are distributed across 17 states and union territories, with the highest number in Assam (85) and the lowest in Ladakh (02). Candidates can apply for only one state and must be proficient in the local language of that state, as a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) forms part of the selection process.

Applicants must be graduates aged between 20 and 30 years as on 1 July 2026, with a minimum of one year of post-qualification experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank.
